Community and Stakeholder Engagement
We connect researchers with the communities they serve to promote engaged, impactful research.
Overview
The Community and Stakeholder Engagement (CSE) program at the Consortium for Translational and Precision Health connects researchers with the communities they serve to promote engaged, impactful research.
Areas of Support
The CSE program operates through two key arms:
The Community Engagement Advisory Board (CEAB) provides strategic guidance and lived-experience perspectives on research priorities and practices.
The Community Responsive Studio (CRS) provides researchers with an opportunity to receive direct feedback on study design, materials and implementation from community advisors.
Together, CEAB and CRS ensure that studies are culturally relevant, community-informed and aligned with public health needs. CSE also offers training in effective, ethical engagement practices, strengthening partnerships, trust and the translation of research into real-world solutions.
Our CSE services include:
Consulting community-informed study design and recruitment
Hosting Community Responsive Studio (CRS)
Facilitating Other Academic Voices
Conducting strength-based engagement strategies through our Community Health Worker Program
Coordinating pilot grant community review panels
Connecting to CTSA Network resources
Providing tailored messaging and outreach strategies
