Differences in Health Outcomes among Cancer Patients with Pre-Existing Disabilities and Co-Morbid Conditions

Join us  for a webinar with Dr. Heather Becker, hosted by the Community and Stakeholder Engagement Module of the Consortium of Translational and Precision Health. Learn more about some of the common issues that cancer patients with disabilities experience and discuss how clinicians and public health programs and policy can help make the cancer recovery journey and participation in critical research programs easier for patients with disabilities.

Participants will learn to:

  • Recognize the prevalence of co-morbid conditions and other health risks that can contribute to cancer for people with disabilities

  • Identify the barriers to participation in clinical research for people with disabilities

  • Identify ways to improve cancer care for people with disabilities
