CTPH CSE Invites Researchers to Strengthen Studies with Community Insights
The Consortium for Translational and Precision Health (CTPH) is encouraging researchers to elevate their work by participating in the Community Responsive Studio (CRS)—a dynamic, solutions‑focused forum that brings researchers and community stakeholders together to shape stronger, more relevant studies that have a real impact.
Through CTPH’s Community and Stakeholder Engagement (CSE) program, the CRS offers an engaging space where researchers can actively collaborate with community members on research design, development of research questions, recruitment and retention strategies, dissemination planning, partnership building, implementation approaches and ethical considerations. Researchers can strengthen their impact by actively engaging with the communities their work serves—supported by a skilled facilitator and a dedicated team who connect them directly with the people most affected by their research. This hands‑on partnership helps researchers build trust, gain meaningful insights and elevate the real‑world relevance of their studies.
These in‑person, two‑way conversations empower researchers to ground their work in lived experience, strengthen trust and enhance the real‑world impact of their studies.
Faculty, fellows, and researchers affiliated with Baylor College of Medicine or the University of Houston are invited to request a studio. Requests may be submitted here.
