CTPH Opens Applications for 2026 Research Studio to Support First-Time R01 Submissions
The Consortium for Translational and Precision Health (CTPH), a Clinical and Translational Science Award-funded partnership between Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) and the University of Houston (UH), is inviting early-career researchers to apply for its next Research Studio, scheduled for March 24, 2026.
The studio is designed to support early-career faculty members preparing to submit their first R01 grant, which is the National Institutes of Health’s primary mechanism for funding independent, investigator-initiated research.
During the in-person session, selected participants will present their proposals and receive structured feedback from a panel of seasoned experts.
Eligibility is open to early-career faculty at both Baylor College of Medicine and the University of Houston. Applicants must submit an interest form by Monday, Feb. 2, 2026, 5 p.m. CT to be considered. The studio committee will review submissions and select presenters.
Feedback from the expert reviewers will be shared during the session and compiled for participants after the event.
